After a long day exploring the beautiful Isle of Purbeck, head back to Norden to take advantage of the wonderful facilities on offer.
There are two large facilities blocks on-site so wherever you stay you’ll never be far from one. Facilities include flush toilets, hot showers and private wash basins. Hair dryers and shaving plug-in points are provided. These facilities are free to use and do not require tokens.
The main facilities block is home to a family room. With a shower, bath and wash basin, bath time has never run so smoothly on a camping holiday!
The main facilities block has an adjoining laundry room with washing machines, tumble dryers, sinks and an iron for campers to make use of. Tokens for the washing machines and tumble dryers are available from the farm shop.
Both facilities blocks have an adjoining indoor washing up room, so gone are the days of washing your pots and pans outside in the dark and cold!
At the main facilities block, we have a disabled toilet and wet room. Proof of disability is not required, and keys can be rented from the farm shop for a refundable deposit. The farm shop is also completely wheelchair accessible.
Accessibility Guide
There are two areas for campers to dispose of grey water and elsan waste located near both facilities blocks. We also have a drive over point to make disposal as quick and easy as possible.
Head to our dedicated dog-walking field where you can let your dog run around off its lead.
After a long muddy walk, your pampered pup can enjoy a warm shower in our pooch parlour! The service is free to use and can be found behind the laundry room.
With numerous water points dotted around, you’ll never be far from one wherever you are on site. All points dispense drinking water and are always readily available to use.
We have a 15 laptop size locker facility which is located in the shed that houses the fridges and freezers – this can be found in the pond field. Better still, it’s free to use!
We have a limited number of electric cables available to hire from the farm shop. These allow connection from your unit to the electric supply during your stay. Please note – we do not have any main power units for tents available to hire. We only have standard cables for Motorhomes or caravans. Stay connected at Norden Farm. Complimentary Wifi is available across all camping fields.
Norden Farm Shop has a regular stock of Calor and Camping Gaz gas canisters. Campers are able to exchange like-for-like bottles at competitive prices.
Non-electric camping at Norden doesn’t have to interrupt your meal plans. We have a fridge and freezer for our campers. These are free to use and are located in the Pond field.We also sell bagged ice, and we stock a good supply of fresh, chilled & frozen products.
We allow fire pits on the campsite providing they are small, contained, raised off the ground and are used sensibly. If you don’t have your own, we have a limited number of fire pits available to hire from the farm shop – just ask when you arrive!
Seasoned wood only to be burnt. This is available from the Farm Shop. Firewood obtained from surrounding woodland is strictly prohibited.
If you don’t fancy cooking, pop down to our resident food vendor (varies throughout the year). Based in Pond Field, they serve delicious breakfast, dinners and hot drinks. Seasonal opening hours apply – contact us for more info!
Fishing Pond
Campers staying at Norden get free and exclusive access to the fishing pond.
It is located just behind the facilities block in the aptly-named Pond Field. Here you may find carp, rudd, tench and bream.
You might also spot ducks, geese and moorhens.
The following rules apply:
• No keep nets
• No ground bait
• Barbless hooks only
Bait is not sold on site but Spam often does the trick and is available to purchase from the farm shop!
Farm Shop
Open every day all year, Norden Farm Shop is exceptionally well-stocked and has a huge variety of camping goods plus a great selection of local produce.
From marshmallows and sausages for the campfire to replacement air mattresses and hot water bottles, Norden Farm Shop’s got you covered.

Norden Farm is a family-run touring caravan and camping site set on a working farm just outside of Corfe Castle on the Jurassic Coast, Dorset. The site is open from April 1st to October 31st (weather permitting).
