Wishing a happy and safe new year to all. Let’s hope that we can all get back to normal quickly.

Ahead of our official opening (1st March), we have decided to postpone welcoming visitors until at least 1st April 2021 in light of the recent decision for another nationwide lockdown. For the time being, we will continue to take bookings for April and beyond, and recommend booking early to avoid disappointment, particularly this year with so many bookings already ‘rolled over’ from the 2020 season. You’ll also be pleased to know that we’re not increasing our tariff rates this year and have frozen our 2020 prices!

We may have to postpone our opening date further but this decision will be based on government guidance available closer to the time. We will also endeavour to re-open as many of our facilities as possible for the 2021 season but again, this will all be reviewed closer to the time.

For now, we are hoping that the vaccine rollout is as successful as possible so we can welcome you all back with ‘the C word’ and restrictions a thing of the past.

New for 2021 season:

There have been some minor changes to our Terms & Conditions ahead of the 2021 season which will affect those of you visiting this year.

Balances will now become due seven days before arrival as opposed to our usual ‘pay on arrival’ process but don’t panic- we will send you a reminder email closer to the time. We trialled taking balances before arrival last year in order to provide a contactless check-in which worked really well. It also makes the whole arrival process much quicker too, meaning you get to spend more time enjoying your holiday instead!

We’re also upgrading how you can pay outstanding balances too- campers will now be able to access their booking confirmation and pay invoices online via our website! But you can of course, still give us a call if you prefer.

We have also increased our deposit amount to £30 from £25 but this will not affect any existing bookings or pending rollovers from last season.

Although we missed seeing so many of our wonderful regulars last year, we’ve been busy behind the scenes making the site even more fabulous for your return.  We’ve invested some much-needed love into the farm buildings leading up to the camping fields- you’ll see some restoration of the existing barns, and some brand new structures for our four-legged friends too! There’s little change on the Campsite itself, although as normal we have continued to improve the drainage of our fields (this year in the Pond Field) so some pitches may be out of action for the first part of the season. We can’t wait to see you all soon!
