Good points:
VERY well stocked shop with decently long opening hours so no worries if you forget to bring something.
Showers are impeccably clean and you can adjust the height of the shower head and remove the shower head from the bracket making it soooo much easier to wash children’s hair. Decent water pressure to cope with rinsing my stupidly thick hair too.
Super friendly staff who were very helpful.
Really nice family site. Despite there being several larger groups whilst we were there, they appeared to be groups of families. No loud music/raucousness. Everyone was very respectful of each other.
Food shack on site serving breakfast & evening food if you can’t be bothered to cook.
Plenty of washing up facilities, taps in fields and dog poo bins so you don’t have miles to go to sort out those things.
Spacious fields with ooodles of room for pitching tents with friends.
Lovely play park and animals to keep the children entertained.
Only a 25 min walk into Corfe.
Bad points (and I’m really being critical here; I loved it and am booking to go back this year!)
There’s no decent coffee!! The food shack does food, but no latte/cappuccino/espresso options, so make sure you pack a cafetière and some ground coffee if you don’t like instant!!
If farm animals aren’t you’re thing, go to the far end of the field or pack ear plugs! The peacocks and donkeys are loud!
All in all, a fantastic site, definitely one we will be visiting again. Thank you all at Norden Farm!
First rate family campsite - I'm staying here at the moment in our van, with my husband and our 2 year old boy. We are really hard pushed to think of any way this campsite... read more could improve. Excellent facilities! It is rare to be able to give a toddler an actual bath when camping. Another time, we would ask for a pitch closer to the main block, which has the family bathroom. The farm shop is great. We haven't sampled the cooked food yet, but we plan to. We enjoyed meeting the farm animals, especially the piglets. The location is perfect for a family who enjoy steam trains, castles, nature and the great outdoors in general.
