Norden Farm Campsite Update: 25/02/21
Norden Farm Campsite – COVID-19 update, ‘roadmap’ for 2021

Firstly, we would like to thank our guests for their continued support and patience. We are currently experiencing a huge number of booking requests and enquiries about existing bookings via phone and email since the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday, all whilst running on a reduced number of staff. We apologise if you are waiting to hear back from us, we are working as quickly as we can and will get back to you as soon as possible.

Norden Farm Campsite update:

We’re pleased that the recent announcement gave a provisional date for opening the campsite – 12th April 2021. We understand that although we will be able to welcome campers from this date (Government permitting), we will NOT be allowed to open any shared facilities at this point, so we will only be able to accommodate those of you who have your own facilities and can be self-contained in your unit; this includes toilets as well as showers. We will also only be able to accommodate groups of two units max. and you must be from two households only – these groups will only be allowed to mix outside, but not inside, your units.

It seems that the next easing of restrictions is set for 17th May 2021 (again, Government permitting), by which time we hope to open our shared facilities. From this date, it seems we will also be able to take bookings from more than two households.

For the small number of bookings we have prior to 12th April, we are in the process of contacting you to discuss your bookings. We are also soon to begin the process of contacting all bookings between 12th April-17th May to update you on how the site will be operating during this time.

Norden Farm Cottage update:

We have already been in touch with most bookings affected by these restrictions to re arrange your holiday. Provisionally, the cottage will be allowed to open from April 12th to one household only.

Norden House update:

Customers booked before the 21st June will be contacted in due course to discuss options regarding their booking. We can be flexible with the prices and close off certain areas within the house, to accommodate 1 household from 12th April. From May 17th, we will be able to accept groups of 2 households to stay overnight, and again would be willing to discuss any enquires you may have.

We would like to remind all of our guests that this information is based on the Government guidance made available on 22nd April. The Government guidance will be based on data, rather than the set dates and so if this guidance changes, our policies will subsequently change.

As always, anyone who has any concerns regarding your booking, please get in touch and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
